Being the court report of Their Excellencies Edward and Anastasie, Ninth Baron and Baroness of Delftwood at the Shoote in the Wildwood on the 3rd and 4th Days of September, anno societatis 46, Lady Helene al-Zarqa’ reporting herald with the assistance of Countess Caryl Olesdattir.

Morning Court 3rd of September

Their Excellencies called before them Lady Áine inghean Riocaird and Sir Óláfr Þorvarðarson and spoke of their continued service to and presence in the Barony, despite having moved outside the Barony’s borders. They then made Lady Aine and Sir Olafr honorary citizens of the Barony of Delftwood. Scroll by Lady Failenn ingen Chernaich.

Evening Court 3rd of September

Their Excellencies asked to see any gentle for whom this was their first event in the Society and bid them welcome to the Society.

All of the children present were then called forth. Their Excellencies noted that the children defended the Barony from a scourge of monsters and rehabilitated the monsters to make them friendly. Their Excellencies also noted that Gaelen was the youngest archer, and passed onto him the ancestral arrow given to the youngest archer each year at the Shoote in the Wildwood. They instructed him to bring the arrow back next year to pass it on.

Their Excellencies asked to see Vilhjálmr Eðvarðarson and noted that he was absent for a piece of Kingdom business at the Pennsic War, and was awarded arms in absentia. They then had the scroll read in court. Scroll by Muirgel ingen Gilla Comgaill.

The autocrat for the event, Baron Artemius Andreas Magnus, was invited into court. He thanked thanked all for coming and also gave thanks to the staff and all who helped that day.

Their Excellencies called before them Lord Marcus Claudius Cincinnatus, who noted there was a heavy weapons tournament that day. He announced the winner of the tournament to be Ragnar the Fierce. Scroll by Meisterin Felicitas Flußmüllnerin.

Their Excellencies called forth Lord Michael Gladwyne, who announced that the victor of the day's archery tournament was Milhim ibn Rashid. Calligraphy and illumination by Corwin Alexander Templeton upon at text by Lady Helene al-Zarqa'

Lord Michael Gladwyne also announced that the Seven Pearls Archery Tournament was held and that the victor was Wolfgang Starcke from the Barony of the Rhyderich Hael. Calligraphy and wording by Lady Helene al-Zarqa'; illumination by Lady Verederosa dal Sol.

Their Excellencies asked to see Meisterin Felicitas Flußmüllnerin. She announced that there was an arts and sciences competition and that the winner was determined by populace choice to be Lady Reyni Hrefna. Calligraphy and wording by Lady Helene al-Zarqa'; illumination by Maria Adriane.

Their Excellencies called forth Lord Edmund of Worchester and declared him to be the victor in the day’s thrown weapons tournament. Scroll by Baroness Clarice Roan.

Dragos Pelikanos was called forth by Their Excellencies. They spoke of how he helped in kitchens, setting up, and taking photographs. They then inducted him into the Order of the Windmill. Calligraphy and illumination by Lady Helene al-Zarqa' upon a text by Don Benedict Fergus atte Mede.

Their Excellencies invited Dame T'svia bas Tamara V'Amberview into their court. Dame T'svia noted that there was a member of her household who had long been lost, but who had recently been found. She asked to see Lord Gwydeon ap Arden, and gave him tokens of her household so he would not be lost again.

Their Excellencies then noted they had further business with Lord Gwydeon. They spoke of how he served as Baronial Heavy Weapons Champion and also learned the art fencing. They then inducted him into the order of the Guard of the Windmill. Scroll by Lady Verederosa dal Sol.

Countes Caryl Olesdatter was then invited into court by Their Excellencies. She announced that the combination of auction, silent auction, pick-a-prize raffle fundraisers raised $716.50 for the Barony’s coffers.

Evening Court 4th of September

Their Excellencies called forth their current Heavy Weapons Champion, Gwydeon ap Arden, and asked if there was a tournament to determine his successor, which there was. They thanked him for his service and called forth Lord Marcus Claudius Cincinnatus, who named victor and Baronial Heavy Weapons Champion. Scroll by Meisterin Felicitas Flußmüllnerin.

Their Excellencies called forth their current Thrown Weapons Champion, Bran mac Dímmáin, thanked him for his service and called forth the victor of the tournament to determine his successor. They called forth Lord Vilhjálmr Eðvarðarson and named him Baronial Thrown Weapons Champion. Scroll by Baroness Clarice Roan.

Their Excellencies called forth Aurelio de Baldasare, their current Baronial Archery Champion. They thanked him for his services and asked if there was a shoot to determine his successor. They then called forth Lord Andreas Schmidt and named him Baronial Archery Champion. Their Excellencies noted they had further business with Aurelio de Baldasare. They spoke of his dedication to archery, particularly his service as their Archery Champion, and inducted him into the Order of the Guard of the Windmill. Scroll by Meisterin Felicitas Flußmüllnerin.
