Barony of Delftwood
The Report of the Court of Their Excellencies, Edward Harbinger and
Anastasie de Lamoure, Ninth Baron and Baroness of Delftwood, held at A
Shoote in the Wyldwoode in Their Barony of Delftwood on the 4th day of
September A.S. 45. Mistress Aheydis von Körckhingen reporting
herald with the assistance of Lady
Helene al-Zarqa' .
Their Excellencies welcomed before them all gentles for whom this day
was their first event. Each was gifted with a beaded token made by Her
Excellency's own hand and encouraged to visit our lands again.
Their Excellencies called forth all youths in attendance and those yet
young at heart. All raised their voices in resounding affirmation of
the day's pleasures and amusements, whereupon each was gifted with
little cakes from the baronial pantry.
Their Excellencies called for the attendance of all marshals who had
given their service to the day's martial endeavors. each was gifted
with a collection of confections in a wooden box made by the hands of
Her Excellency Anastasie.
Their Excellencies announced the winner of the Seven Pearls Arts and
Sciences championship as Logan Lotta de Kent of The Rhydderich Hael,
praising her artistry and industry. Scroll by Isadora Rogan and Lady

Their Excellencies welcomed their good cousin Baron Caleb Reynolds and
named him the victor in the day's Thrown Weapons tournament. Scroll

Their Excellencies called forth Lord Gyles de Blair. His term of
service as Thrown Weapons Champion at an end, Lord Gyles was divested
of the regalia of that station, whereupon Their Excellencies thanked
him for his protection and service during his tenure.
Bran mac Dímmáin was then named the new Thrown Weapons
champion, invested with the baronial regalia and given his rightful

Their Excellencies announced the winner of the Seven Pearls Archery
championship as Milhim ibn Rashid of The Rhydderich Hael, remarking
upon his renowned skill on the range. Scroll by Lady Helene al-Zarqa'.
Master John Michael Thorpe was called before the populace, whereupon
Their Excellencies praised his countless hours of service to the barony
as marshal of rapier, musician, craftsman and teacher, in recognition
of which They made him a companion of the Order of the Windmill. Scroll

The Honorable Lady Solveig Throndardottir was called forward, whereupon
Their Excellencies spoke in praise and gratitude of her service and
instruction, most especially in the field of Japanese studies, in
recognition of which They made her a companion of the Order of the

Baroness Clarice Roan was called forth. She not being present, Lady
Desiderata Drake spoke on her behalf. Their Excellencies enumerated the
many ways in which Her Excellency Clarice serves our barony and made
her in absentia a companion of the Order of the Windmill. Scroll in

There being no further business before Their Excellencies Their court
was closed.

The Report of the Court of Their Excellencies, Edward Harbinger and
Anastasie de Lamoure, Ninth Baron and Baroness of Delftwood, held at A

September A.S. 45. Lady
Helene al-Zarqa' reporting herald with the assistance of Mistress
Aheydis von Körckhingen.
Their Excellencies welcomed before them all gentles for whom this day
was their first event in Delftwood. A vast army of new friends
approached the dais to be welcomed by Their Excellencies and gifted
with beaded tokens made by Her Excellency's hands.
Their Excellencies called forth all youth in attendance. Noting their
already bountiful enthusiasm and exuberance, Their Excellencies gifted
each youth with sugared victuals from the baronial pantry before
sending them forth, newly invigorated, to rejoin their parents.
Their Excellencies received into Their presence Lady
Lasairfhíona inghean Uí Ghallchobhair (the otherwise
unpronounceable) and Sultana bint Mihail, who presented the barony with
a banner bearing the armory of the office of Chancellor Minor, that all
might know of the barony's commitment to youth activities and better
locate Youth Point at each event.
Their Excellencies welcomed the event stewards, The Honorable Lady
Moniczka Elzbietka Poznanska and Pan Henryk Bogusz, praising them for
their hard work in making the event a splendid celebration for all, and
most especially for the success with which The Honorable Lady Moniczka
had held at bay the tempest to the east.
Pan Henryk addressed the populace, commending with deep gratitude the
service of House Hamilton, whereupon Their Chieftain, Ralf Erikson, was
bid to introduce his house, that we might be better acquainted to them
and thank them for their many labors.
Their Excellencies called forth those marshals who gave of their time
and expertise this day, gifting each with confectionery in a wooden box
made by the hands of Her Excellency Anastasie.
Their Excellencies announced the winner of the overall Archery
Tournament as the machine which is Baron Master Don Rian Gortyroyan.

Their Excellencies called forth Lord Marcus Claudius Cincinnatus. His
term of service as Champion of Archers at an end, Lord Marcus was
divested of the regalia of that station, whereupon Their Excellencies
expressed Their gratitude for his service as protector during his
tenure. Aurelio di Baldasare was then named the new Archery Champion,
invested with the baronial regalia and bid to take his place upon the

Their Excellencies received before them Lady Helene al-Zarqa'. Her term
of service as Arts & Sciences Champion at an end, Lady Helene was
divested of the baronial regalia, whereupon Their Excellencies thanked
her for her services in the arts and sciences during her tenure. Lady
Svana in kyrra was then named as the new Arts and Sciences Champion,
invested with the regalia of her station and invited to take her place

Their Excellencies called forth Lord Drefan Ravenson, naming him as the
victor of the Heavy Weapons Tournament. Their Excellencies noted that
Lord Drefan's term of service as heavy Weapons Champion had come to an
end, and bid him relinquish the regalia of that office. Their
excellencies then thanked Lord Drefan for his protection and service
and congratulated him on his victory this day. Lord Gwydeon of Arden
was then named as the new Heavy Weapons Champion, invested with the
sash and sword of that station and given his rightful place upon the

Their Excellencies called forth all youth archers who had defended the
barony from a most mysterious horde of monsters which proved visible
only unto youthful eyes. The youth were congratulated on their success
in repelling or capturing each monster, and were charged with the duty
of rehabilitating those creatures yet held captive.
Their Excellencies welcomed before them Lord Gwydeon of Arden who spoke
on behalf of Madison of Wyntersett, keeper of the Arrow of Greyledge.
Lord Gwydeon read unto the assembled populace the Legend of the Arrow,
whose crest of white for purity, blue for nobility and red for blood
graces the the shaft of that noble missile, crafted by the hand of
Thyri Oddsdottir and bestowed by Lord Edward the Grey of Greyledge. The
arrow was returned to the barony by Lord Gwydeon, at the request of
Madison, whereupon it was placed in the charge of Vilhjálmr
Eðvarðarson, youngest archer of this day's events.
Their being no further business before Their Excellencies this their
court was closed.
