Here follows the report of the Court of His Excellency, Oeric le Strange, Baron of Delftwood. Court held on the 23rd day of September, A.S. XLI (2006) at the Baronial Heavy Weapons Tournament. Alheydis von Körckhingen, reporting herald.

His Excellency gave leave to Her Excellency Countess Caryl Olesdattir to address the populace assembled. Her Excellency shared the sorrowful tidings of the passing from this life of The Honorable Lady Caitlin Dierdre of Errelynn, whose memory was honored with a moment of silence.

His Excellency called forth William Edwardson and Joseph Edwardson and presented them with tokens of cowbells in appreciation for their eager and helpful service earlier in the day.

His Excellency spoke warmly of his gratitude to Ciarrai and Teresa for their assitance in setting up the baronial encampment at the Great Pennsic War. Although they were unable to be present during court, they had received cow bell tokens from His Excellency earlier in the day.

His Excellency invited forward all those present who had assisted in guarding the gates of the Royal AEthelmearc encampment at Pennsic War. Lady Svana in kyrra, Lady Helene al-Zarqá and Desiderata Drake received tokens of cow bells from His Excellency's hand in gratitude for their diligent service.

His Excellency then spoke most gravely of ill conduct within the barony, but reassured the populace that his spies had succeeded in determining the identity of the culprit. His Excellency's Heavy Weapons and Rapier Champions were called forth and charged with apprehending the criminal. They searched among the populace and succeeded in taking into custody one Áine inghean Riocaird. A warrant was secured and the charges read. Found guilty of numerous acts of service, Áine inghean Riocaird was sentenced to membership in the Order of the Windmill. Scroll by THLady Alheydis von Körckhingen.

His Excellency invited before him Lord Conrad MacCallum, Heavy Weapons Champion to the Barony of Delftwood, and commended him on a most entertaining tournament. His term of service being at an end, Lord Conrad was divested of the regalia of his post, and was presented a token of a cow bell in appreciation for his service.

Lord Óláfr Þorvarðarson was called forth and named the new Heavy Weapons Champion of the Barony of Delftwood. Lord Óláfr was invested with the regalia of his post and invited to take his place among His Excellency's protectors. Scroll by Lady Helene al-Zarqá.

Count Master Robin Wallace was named, in absentia, as the overall victor of the day's tournament. Scroll illumined by Lady Helene al-Zarqá and calligraphed by THLady Alheydis von Körckhingen.

His Excellency called forth Anastasie de Lamoure, Arts and Sciences Champion to the Barony of Delftwood. His Excellency received from her hand a set of Champions Sashes for the protectors and attendants of the Baronial Court. Her time of service having concluded, Anastasie was divested of her office, and presented a token from His Excellency is appreciation of her service and generosity.

Ciarrai was named, in absentia, as the victor of the Arts and Sciences competition and the new Arts and Sciences Champion of the Barony of Delftwood. A scroll will be forthcoming.

Edward Harbinger was called forth, whereupon His Excellency spoke of Edward's skillful bowmanship and of his service to the archery community of the barony and beyond. In recognition thereof, Edward Harbinger was made a Companion of the Order of the Millguard. Scroll by the Angels Keep Scriptorium.

Dennis Ralff, the Finland Serf, was called forth and commended for his quiet and steadfast service to the barony in performing all manner of labours, most particulary the transport of His Excellency's and the Barony's many goods, in recognition whereof he was made a Companion of the Order of the Windmill. There being no further business before His Excellency, his court was closed.
